Wax Melts are highly scented pieces of wax without a wick that are melted in a warmer/burner. The warmer heats up the wax and melts it, giving off a strong smell.
Wax melts are simple to use. You take one or two melts/pieces of melt depending on the size of the burner and place it on the top half of your burner. Depending on whether your burner is an electric one or not you either light your tea light or turn the warmer on and it will slowly melt your wax.
My wax melts are made from a blend of soy wax and coconut oil as well as cruelty free fragrance oils. Your typical store bought candles and wax melts usually contains paraffin wax, this is because it is a lot cheaper than soy wax. Unfortunately, due to paraffin wax being derived from petroleum, there are some hidden Health & Safety issues that a lot of people are not aware of. This is why we use soy wax, which is derived from soybeans and is a lot safer.
